Celebrate My Book Release: I Was Just So Lonely

This one is personal, and about 4 years in the making.

I’m signing copies of I Was Just So Lonely at Next Chapter Books and Art in New Bern on Saturday, May 30 – and if you’ve read the book, you already know why this particular stop means something.

Next Chapter is in the book. I put it there because it’s my favorite place in my favorite downtown, and it felt dishonest not to. Walking in on Saturday to sign copies on their shelves is going to be one of those moments I’ve been quietly looking forward to since I typed the last page.

The Details

New Bern, NC Next Chapter Books and Art Saturday, May 30 · 11AM–1PM

I’ll have a pen. They’ll have books. You bring yourself. Each giftbag for the book contains a flyer for my upcoming book series for your first sneak peak!

Can’t make the signing but still want a copy? Next Chapter will have I Was Just So Lonely available in store – stop in any time.

About the Book

I Was Just So Lonely is now available in paperback — a real look at the myth of finding new friends in your 30’s.

Lea is a woman who decides to stop waiting for friendship to find her. It’s warm, it’s a little wry, and it’s the kind of story that makes you want to text someone you’ve been meaning to text.

I hope to see familiar faces and make some new ones. That’s sort of the whole point.

See you Saturday.
